I don't personally like 90s music but I personally like rhythmic gymnastics.

Rhythmic Gymnastics' Non-Existence on TV
For artistic gymnastics there's Make It or Break It and even a gymnastics version of Dancing with the Stars.
But rhythmic gymnastics is non-existent in movies and TV. The closest TV show to rhythmic gymnastics would be Dance Moms unfortunately.
For a while I've been imagining what a rhythmic gymnastics version of Dance Moms would be like... and it sounds amazing (in my head).
There'd be fights over who gets individual routines and then there'd be the Maddie who gets to go to the Youth Olympics or something.
It sounds amazing to be honest.

Painful Stretching in Gymnastics
So there's this video on YouTube (where else would it be?) that's a montage of these coaches stretching these girls that aren't that flexible. The thing is that these girls are in so much pain that they start biting and scratching the coach. Well at least with the first one.
The best thing about the video is probably the comments.
"Child abuse. Pure and simple. I have danced for nearly 40 years and NEVER had a teacher lay hands on me like that. It is disgusting. These children will eventually need major surgeries in particular on the hip as over rotating damages the ball joint. Absolutely revolting."

True. But I only watched half of the video. It ironically motivated me so much that I got my right splits within a week of watching it.
But it's still very unfortunate that these girls had to endure that type of torture.

Welcome to the Blog!
Hello there, my name's Taylee but my internet alias seems to be Colour Fluff.
I absolutely love rhythmic gymnastics (despite only 100% knowing what it was for less than six months) and I thought to create a blog where the focus is all on the elegant sport of rhythmic gymnastics.
If you don't actually know what rhythmic gymnastics is, I'll explain it.
Think of artistic gymnastics but without the beam, vault, uneven bars and especially the flips. Rhythmic gymnastics uses four apparatuses (ball, clubs, hoop and ribbon) and is probably the second-most elegant sport I know of (second to ballet).
An individual routine is usually a minute and a half long and a group routine (made up of five people) is usually two minutes and a half long.
And that's what this blog is going to be all about.
